New Mystery Shoppers

Thank you for expressing an interest in joining our valued group of professional mystery shoppers. We welcome you to the team and are looking forward to working with you! Before you can start accepting assignments, you'll need to take a brief test and create a profile. The shopper orientation test is shown below and will be reviewed by a Goodwin & Associates staff member. This test is designed for you to demonstrate your writing skills and ability to follow instructions. Once you pass the test, you will be emailed a link to fill out your shopper profile.

The portion below is to test your writing ability. We are judging on proper use of capitalization, grammar, spelling, punctuation, complete sentences and detail. Please describe a recent meal you had at a restaurant. Please remark on temperature of the food, appeal of the food upon delivery (did it look appetizing), taste, portion size and value. Please limit your entry to a single paragraph.

The following is to test your ability to describe a person: Please describe yourself using the format of: gender, height, age, hair color (or in the format of gender/height/age/hair color):

The following is to test your ability to read and understand shop instructions. Please read the following and answer the three questions, based upon the shop instructions.

Shop Instructions:

  • You must bring at least 1 guest with you on the shop.
  • You must go on your assigned date.
  • You are required to order a minimum of 1 appetizer, 2 different meals and 1 dessert.
  • You must visit the restroom to inspect it for cleanliness, working order and supplies stocked.
  • Get names or provide detailed descriptions of staff you interact with.
  • Note your arrival/departure times, and delivery times of all courses (from time ordered to time they arrived to the table is the delivery time).
  • All report comment boxes should be filled out using complete sentences, proper capitalization, proper grammar, correct spelling and using good detail.
